WELCOME AND ANNOUNCEMENTS SONG: “He is There For You” CONFESSION AND FORGIVENESS GREETING SONG: “LIGHT THE FIRE”   PRAYER OF THE DAY Exodus 34:29-35 Moses came down from Mount Sinai. As he came down from the mountain with the two tablets of the covenant in his hand, Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone because he had been talking with God. When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, the skin of his face was shining, and they were afraid to come near him. But Moses called to them; and Aaron and all the leaders of the congregation returned to him, and Moses spoke with them. Afterward all the Israelites came near, and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him on Mount Sinai. When Moses had finished speaking with them, he put a veil on his face; but whenever Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he would take the veil off, until he came out; and when he came out, and told the Israelites what he had been commanded, th...

WELCOME AND ANNOUNCEMENTS Let us worship God. Jesus said: I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. -- John 13:34  Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ HYMN: New Doxology CONFESSION  Loving God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word and deed: we have not loved you with all our heart or served you with all our strength; we have been blind to the vision of a renewed world and deaf to your call to costly discipleship; we have been indifferent to the suffering of others and unwilling to forgive one another. In your mercy, Lord, pardon and restore us, that together in the ministry of Christ we may serve you with joy all the days of our life. Amen.   When you were dead in trespasses, God made you alive together with him, when he forgave us all our trespasses, erasing the record that stood against us with its legal demands. He set this aside, nailing it to the cross....

Jn. 17 WELCOME AND ANNOUNCMENTS HYMN: Here in this Place…………………………………..Red 532 CONFESSION AND FORGIVENESS SONG: All I Need is You GREETING, KYRIE, HYMN OF PRAISE: Praise the Father PRAYER OF THE DAY Isaiah 6:1-8 Today's reading recounts Isaiah's commission as a prophet in Jerusalem during the second half of the eighth century B.C. Isaiah's intense experiences were part of his credentials to announce God's judgment and warn God's people. In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the LORD sitting on a throne, high and lofty; and the hem of his robe filled the temple. Seraphs were in attendance above him; each had six wings: with two they covered their faces, and with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew. And one called to another and said: "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory." The pivots on the thresholds shook at ...

WELCOME AND ANNOUNCEMENTS SONGS: I am the Light of the World, You are the Light of the World CONFESSION AND FORGIVENESS    PSALM 36 Transgression speaks to the wicked deep in their hearts; there is no fear of God before their eyes. For they flatter themselves in their own eyes that their iniquity cannot be found out and hated. The words of their mouths are mischief and deceit; they have ceased to act wisely and do good. They plot mischief while on their beds; they are set on a way that is not good; they do not reject evil.   Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds.   Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your judgments are like the great deep; you save humans and animals alike, O Lord.   How precious is your steadfast love, O God! All people may take refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights. ...
